Job Title: Restaurant General Manager – high-volume location
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Salary: A‚¬45,000-48,0000, gross per year + bonus
For our client, a company opening a brand-new, high-energy restaurant in one of Barcelona’s most iconic and bustling touristic areas, we are looking for a passionate, hands-on, and charismatic Restaurant General Manager to lead the team and create unforgettable dining experiences.

Key Areas of Responsibility
* Lead by example – Be a hands-on, visible leader on the floor, inspiring and motivating your team.
* Drive operational excellence – Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, from service standards and staff training to inventory, cost control, and profitability.
* Deliver exceptional guest experiences – Ensure every visitor leaves with a memorable impression of Barcelona’s vibrant hospitality.
* Build and develop a winning team – Recruit, train, and mentor staff to exceed expectations in a high-pressure environment.
* Manage finances and performance – Meet and exceed revenue, sales, and customer satisfaction targets.
* Embrace the chaos – Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting where no two days are the same.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role in high-volume, fast-paced restaurants, bars, or hotels.
* Hospitality runs in your veins – You don’t just work in hospitality; you live it.
* Charismatic and engaging – You have a natural ability to connect with guests, staff, and stakeholders.
* Hands-on leader – You’re not afraid to jump in during the rush, whether it’s expediting orders, greeting guests, or supporting your team.
* Thrive under pressure – You love the energy of a busy service and can stay cool, calm, and in control.
* Strong business acumen – You understand P&L, cost control, and sales strategies to drive success.
* Fluent in Spanish and English
