Are you ready for the next step in your leadership career? Join us to lead a team operating conventional filling lines in a role where “leading at shop floor”, driving performance and empowering people go hand in hand – and where your work directly reaches patients living with diabetes and obesity.
Your new role
As Manager, you will have direct leadership responsibility for a team of 18 operators and 2 apprentices, as well as responsibility for ensuring the stable operation of two conventional filling lines. This is a dual role combining people leadership with hands-on operational coordination, giving you close knowledge of Novo Nordisk’s production processes and strong opportunities to grow professionally, personally and as a leader.
Your main tasks will be to:
type=”disc”-
-Lead and manage the team in line with the Novo Nordisk Way, focusing on wellbeing, empowerment and development
-Drive stable performance of our filling lines and ensure day-to-day operational coordination, including facilitating daily planning meetings, board meetings and shift handovers
-Coordinate closely with stakeholders across other departments to ensure smooth operations and aligned priorities
-Work according to LEAN principles and embed them in our way of working, driving systematic problem solving and continuous improvement
-Encourage collaboration and sharing of knowledge across teams and departments
Your new department
In Global Manufacturing & Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.
You will be part of Drug Product Manufacturing Bagsværd (DPM BA), an aseptic production facility with approximately 800 employees producing diabetes and obesity products for patients around the world, both for marketed products and clinical trials. The factory is wide-ranging and includes wash and sterilization, formulation, filling, and inspection.
Line Filling Operations has approximately 140 employees and includes both line operators and a maintenance team. One filling line runs 24/7 and one runs Monday to Friday, with employees working in a three-shift rotation. You will join a leadership team of six leaders with diverse backgrounds and different levels of experience – five responsible for operating the 24/7 filling lines and one for the maintenance team. We work closely together, support one another, and value the trust needed in a strong leadership team. We set high standards and have ambitious goals for our department, but most importantly, we have fun and appreciate a good sense of humour.
Your skills & qualifications
To succeed in this role, you are a people leader who inspires and empowers your team through empathy and clear communication, and you foster a culture of trust and collaboration where each individual can thrive. You bring strong analytical skills, a constructive approach to problem solving and the ability to stay calm in a dynamic production environment where the pace is high and priorities can shift.
You’ll also bring with you:
type=”disc”-
-A background within life sciences
type=”disc”-
-Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a manager or supervisor, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry
type=”disc”-
-Knowledge of GxP-regulated production and the ability to work under strict regulations
-Strong analytical skills combined with a focus on finding sustainable solutions together with your colleagues
-Danish and English language proficiency
Experience from aseptic production is considered a strong advantage.
