Specialist, Global Health Policy

Do you want to help shape the policy environment for healthcare innovation and improve outcomes for people living with brain diseases?

You could be our next Specialist, Global Health Policy, joining Lundbeck’s Global Public Affairs team to help advance our policy priorities. In this role, you will work at the intersection of healthcare, innovation, and public policy, with a primary focus on EU health and life science policy, contributing to discussions that shape the future of the European healthcare and life science landscape.

Your new role

As Specialist, Global Health Policy, you will play an important role in advancing Lundbeck’s policy priorities, with a primary focus on the European policy landscape.

You will monitor and assess policy developments affecting innovation, access, competitiveness, and patient outcomes across the healthcare and life science sectors. Working closely with colleagues across Public Affairs, R&D, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial functions, you will translate policy developments into actionable insights and develop and articulate Lundbeck’s policy positions on key issues affecting patients and healthcare innovation.

You will engage with stakeholders across the European policy ecosystem, including EU institutions, industry associations, patient organisations, and other relevant partners, and represent Lundbeck in relevant policy discussions and initiatives.

This is an opportunity to contribute to policy discussions that shape the future environment for brain health, neuro-rare diseases, and the broader life science sector while working in a highly collaborative and international environment.

Your future team

Global Public Affairs is part of Lundbeck’s Corporate Communication & Public Affairs organisation. We work to advance policies and partnerships that improve outcomes for people living with brain diseases and support a sustainable environment for healthcare innovation.

You will join a collaborative and purpose-driven team that works closely with colleagues across the organisation and with external stakeholders across Europe and globally. We value curiosity, teamwork, and different perspectives, and we are united by a shared ambition to create meaningful impact for patients.

The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

What you bring to the team

You have experience working with health, healthcare, or life science policy and a strong interest in the European policy landscape. You are motivated by the opportunity to shape policy discussions that support innovation and improve patient outcomes.

We imagine that you bring:

-Experience working with EU policy and institutions, ideally in Brussels or in roles with direct exposure to EU decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
-A strong understanding of EU legislative processes and the European policymaking landscape.
-Experience analysing policy developments and translating them into insights, recommendations, and policy positions.
-Knowledge of healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, research and innovation, health data, competitiveness, or related policy areas.

As a person, you are analytical, collaborative, and comfortable navigating complex environments. You build strong relationships across functions and stakeholders, communicate clearly, and are motivated by contributing to work that has meaningful societal impact.
