This is a six-month temporary engagement that offers significant autonomy and high visibility. For the right candidate, this role serves as an ideal platform to demonstrate impact and ownership, with the potential to develop into a long-term collaboration based on performance and business evolution.
The Role In this position, you will be the bridge between scientific strategy and field-based reality. You will take ownership of trial implementation, data integrity, and the translation of complex agricultural metrics into clear, actionable business recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
Trial Coordination: Manage the planning and execution of field trials for fruits and grapes, ensuring compliance with strict experimental protocols and regulatory requirements.
*
Data Analysis: Use specialized software (such as ARM) to analyze trial outcomes, identifying trends and potential risks to help guide R&D and commercial strategies.
*
Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for external research contractors and internal cross-functional teams, including regulatory and marketing departments.
*
Process Improvement: Continuously assess trial workflows, proposing innovative solutions to enhance data quality and operational efficiency.
*
Project Oversight: Manage the logistical and administrative lifecycle of trials, ensuring all documentation and product samples are handled effectively.
What You Bring:
Background: A degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related discipline, with hands-on experience in crop protection or specialty crops.
*
Technical Proficiency: A sharp eye for detail and a solid understanding of field trial methodology and data analysis.
*
Self-Management: You are comfortable operating with a high level of independence, managing your own priorities in a distributed team environment.
*
Language Skills: Proficiency in Spanish and professional English is a must for successful international collaboration.
*
Ambition: You are a curious, growth-oriented professional who values taking ownership and thrives on continuous improvement.
Why This Role? You will join a stable, reputable organization recognized for its commitment to sustainable agriculture and high-level technical expertise.
Flexible Hybrid Structure: The position is in southern Spain, with a hybrid office-to-remote split. For candidates residing further away, a 25% travel requirement for field visits and site collaboration will be expected.
*
Growth & Development: Benefit from a professional learning environment, direct coaching, and a culture that prioritizes both individual wellbeing and collective impact.
*
Influence: You won’t just be following protocols; you will be interpreting results and helping shape the future of sustainable plant health programs.
