Sterility Assurance Specialist

Your new role
As a Sterility Assurance Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining the sterility assurance practices that underpin our aseptic manufacturing operations. Working with sterile injectable pharmaceutical products, you’ll ensure our contamination control strategies meet the highest regulatory standards and protect patient safety.
Your responsibilities will include:

-Supporting the execution of the site’s Sterility Assurance Strategy across contamination control, environmental monitoring, and aseptic practices
-Implementing and maintaining robust processes for media fill testing, facility cleaning and disinfection programs, and gowning protocols
-Evaluating environmental monitoring data and leading contamination control investigations, including impact assessments and root cause analysis
-Authoring and maintaining GMP documentation including SOPs, investigation reports, and contamination control standards
-Conducting regular GEMBA walks to identify improvements and ensure adherence to aseptic manufacturing standards
-Supporting regulatory inspections and client audits, presenting your area of expertise with confidence
-Mentoring and training colleagues on contamination control principles and microbiological best practices

You’ll collaborate with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Operations, and Technical teams to maintain a state of continuous contamination control, ensuring every product meets our uncompromising standards for patient safety.
Your skills & qualifications
We’re looking for a detail-oriented contamination control expert who thrives in a GMP environment. You’ll bring:

-Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control (Microbiology) within GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing, with demonstrated knowledge of EU and USA sterile manufacturing regulations
-Proven competency in contamination control investigations, including product impact assessment and root cause analysis
-Strong capability in authoring GMP documentation (SOPs, investigation reports, standards) to regulatory standards
-Ability to interpret and analyze environmental monitoring data to generate actionable insights and drive continuous improvement
-Excellent influencing and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex contamination control concepts for diverse audiences
-A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, or equivalent experience in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing
-Fluency in French and English

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 47,190.00 to 75,500.00 EUR, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
