Your new role

As a Supply Chain Design Director in Product Supply Chain Design, you’ll architect and optimize end-to-end supply chains that enable our breakthrough therapies to reach patients across all therapeutic areas. Your strategic vision will shape how we scale, launch, and sustain products throughout their lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Designing comprehensive product supply chains from Phase 1 to launch and across all therapeutic areas
-Driving product lifecycle management strategies for growth, peak, decline and post loss of exclusivity, ensuring sustainable value delivery
-Developing robust supply chain risk mitigation plans for all relevant products in your portfolio
-Preparing strategic materials and presenting supply chain positions and recommendations to senior leadership forums
-Building and maintaining effective collaboration with key stakeholders across development, manufacturing, commercial, and external partners
-Anticipating future supply chain needs and proactively planning solutions that enable our ambitious growth

In Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS), we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

Within GMS, Global Supply Chain Design (GSCD) strengthens collaboration throughout the entire product value chain, from CMC Development to Launch and Lifecycle Management. We provide stra-tegic direction across the value chain: what product goes where (internal vs CMO), what capacity is needed, how much and by when. The Product Supply Chain Design function focuses on the end-to-end product and portfolio value chain with responsibilities spanning business development opportunities, scalability of products in early stages, designing supply chains fit for launch, and optimizing them through lifecycle management. Your skills & qualifications
We’re looking for a strategic supply chain leader who thrives in complex, global environments and can translate business needs into executable supply chain solutions.

You’ll bring with you:

-Master’s degree or MBA in supply chain management, business administration or a similar field with applicable experience
-Proven track record in various supply chain management roles across the value chain, demonstrating breadth and depth of expertise
-Background in manufacturing, development, or commercial supply chain
-Demonstrated experience leading and collaborating effectively with cross-functional and international teams including commercial organizations.
-Strategic leadership abilities to achieve complex product milestones and communicate clearly to senior management
-Self-starter with a proactive approach and the ability to anticipate and plan for future needs
