The job
As a Scientist in our API MSAT Stability team, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the stability and quality of pharmaceutical products that reach millions of patients worldwide.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will involve designing stability studies, drafting protocols, reports, and regulatory documents, analysing stability data trends, and providing input to deviations associated with product stability. You will be responsible for multiple diabetes, obesity and rare disease Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) together with your colleagues, where you will collaborate with various stakeholders and assess the necessity and evaluate the outcomes of stability studies. This dynamic role involves identifying the need for stability for life-cycle management products, new products transits from development to production, as well as integrating stability studies into the optimization of production processes.

 

The key tasks will include:

-Providing essential support to the production, ensuring smooth production and effective output
-Securing high quality and regulatory compliance throughout production, ensuring that all processes adhere to industry guidelines
-Proactively identifying areas for optimization and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity thereby contributing to the growth and enhancement of our products and processes
 

Qualifications

-M.Sc. degree or higher (eq. PhD.) in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or other relevant scientific discipline with expertise in stability
-Previous experience with stability studies is a benefit
-Prior experience working in the pharmaceutical industry and working within a GMP environment
-Previous experience in engaging with health authorities is a benefit
-Ability to identify and implement improvements
-Strong communication skills and working proficiency in English
-Working proficiency in Danish is a plus but not requirement

About the department 
In Global Manufacturing & Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

The API MSAT Stability team is part of the MSAT Process Support department, comprising around 150 employees across eight teams. This dynamic department interacts with various functions across the organization. You’ll join a stability team of 14 people, including laboratory technicians, academics and specialists, all dedicated to ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance. The department is based in Bagsværd.
