SEND Teaching Assistant – Salford Area
per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist educational setting in the Salford area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with special educational needs and make a real difference in their day-to-day learning and development.
The Role:
Supporting students with a range of SEND, including autism, SEMH, and complex needs Providing 1:1 and small group support Assisting the class teacher with delivering tailored learning activities Supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Requirements:
Previous experience working with children in a school setting OR transferable experience (e.g. care, support work, youth work) A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (child and adult workforce) A patient, proactive, and nurturing approach Strong communication and teamwork skills
