Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support – EYFS) – Spilsby area, Lincolnshire
Full-Time (Potential Extension)

Simply Education are currently recruiting a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to support a learner on a 1:1 basis within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at a welcoming local primary school.
This is a full-time, term-time-only position, running Monday to Friday, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a young learner’s educational journey. There is potential for the role to be extended beyond the initial contract period.
Working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in EYFS is a highly rewarding role where you play a key part in supporting a child at the very beginning of their education. You will help to build strong foundations in learning through play-based activities, communication, and social interaction. The role requires patience, consistency, and a nurturing approach, as you will support the child’s emotional development, confidence, and independence. You will also adapt activities to meet individual needs, helping the child to access the curriculum in a way that suits them best.
The Role:
Provide consistent 1:1 support for a pupil within EYFS Assist with learning activities, helping to engage and motivate the child Support the child’s social, emotional, and developmental needs Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with children, ideally within a nursery or primary school setting Be patient, caring, and adaptable to individual needs Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills Be committed to supporting children’s development and wellbeing Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
