About the role
As an Accounting Technician you will be ensuring work is carried out in relation to financial and accounting processes, including budget preparation, budget monitoring and
final accounts. You will assist Finance Managers from undertaking tasks such as raising and approving purchase orders through to producing financial analysis and reports.
You will also provide advice on financial regulations/procedures/processes to operational police managers. You will contribute to the operation of the team by providing high
quality customer care, liaising with customers and partners, and attending team meetings.

Essential Qualifications
Educated to Educated to QCF Level 2 including Maths and English OR work experience deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.
Essential Experience
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent customer service skills
Good IT skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
Works well in a team
Organised and able to prioritise activities, often to tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to achieve ‘right first time’
