MPI have a requirement for Aircraft Fitters to work on site in at Stansted Airport.

Our client requires someone to start mid January 2026 through to the 18th December 2026 (as with all contracts, this may be subject to change) There are 2 sets of shifts that run alongside each other.

The Working hours are 07.00 – 19.00

Working the following shift pattern

5 on 5 off
4 on 5 off
5 on 4 off

Then this cycle repeats itself from top.

5 on 5 off
4 on 5 off
5 on 4 off

Rate of pay is £29.00 per hour limited.

Our client has advised that as well as the shifts above, there are extra hours available each week (Overtime is not guaranteed).

This contract is deemed outside of IR35

You will require your own tools as well as current Human Factors, EWIS and Fuel Tank Safety certificates.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with experience working in a Base Maintenance environment

Required Qualifications & Experience

. Have completed a recognised apprenticeship, formal training program or able to demonstrate comparable qualifications and experience.
. Have experience working in a Base Maintenance environment.
. Ideally to have previous experience/technical knowledge of Business Jets such as Bombardier, Embraer or similar type aircraft, however client will consider applicants who may not have this.

Additional Requirements

. Candidates must have legal authorisation and the right to work in the UK.
. Full clean UK driving licence.
. Ability to obtain security clearance and hold an airside ID pass.
