This is an unordinary and exciting opportunity to shape and support the implementation of market access strategies for Novo Nordisk’s rare diseases portfolio. As Global Market Access Lead, you’ll support the launch discussions for our upcoming assets in haemoglobinopathies, bridging science and strategy, and help bring breakthrough therapies to patients with some of the world’s rarest conditions — making a tangible impact on both innovation and patient access worldwide.

Your new role

As Global Market Access Lead for our Haemoglobinopathies assets, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring patients worldwide can access our therapies. You’ll craft strategies that resonate with payers, and bridge the gap between unmet needs, clinical innovation and real-world patient access solutions across our most relevant markets.

Day-to-day your responsibilities will include:

-Driving payer value strategies for our Haemoglobinopathies assets
-Leading the creation of compelling payer value communication tools by translating complex clinical and economic data into narratives that resonate with payers and key stakeholders
-Building strong two-way dialogue with regions and affiliates across to ensure fit-for-purpose execution
-Managing ad-hoc brand/market-focused projects seeking to expand patient access

The position requires someone who can bring innovation and breakthrough thinking to our team. Increasingly, the requirements that it takes to get access are more complicated.
In this role you will engage proactively with the broader market access network of stakeholders in both Global and Operations to leverage the value drivers of our assets and access paths to support the upcoming launches in haemoglobinopathies.

Your new department

The Global RareD (Rare Diseases) Pipeline and Launch Market Access teams sets the payer-facing direction for Novo Nordisk’s future drug portfolio across multiple Therapy Areas including Rare Bleeding Disorders, Rare Endocrine Disorders, Rare Renal Disorders, and Haemoglobinopathies
. Together with our good colleagues across Novo Nordisk, we are proud to be a key partner in the commercial success of the long-term future for Novo Nordisk. While sharing a pursuit of ambitious goals, we’re also committed to maintaining a healthy and creative work culture and work life balance.

We’re looking for a strategic thinker who can navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and turn clinical evidence into compelling payer narratives. You’ll bring with you:

-MBA or M.Sc. in economics, business administration, finance or similar
-Minimum 5 years of experience in market access, pricing, health economics, or related fields within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
-Proven experience working cross-functionally with commercial, medical, and corporate affairs teams, demonstrating your ability to build common vision across functions
-Strong understanding of local reimbursement processes, HTA frameworks, and regulatory requirements across multiple markets
-Solid analytical skills to assess market trends, evaluate meaningful data, and translate complex information into clear, compelling payer value propositions
-Adaptability and innovation mindset to address emerging challenges in dynamic market access environments
-Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal skills and business acumen with strategic/operational thinking
-Fluent in written and spoken English and demonstrates the Novo Nordisk Way
-Affiliate and/or operational experience would be a
n advantage
