Administration Officer
Sheffield
£29,541 – £31,096 per year
40 hours per week
This role supports the Commercial Gas Department by providing efficient administrative and operational support. Working closely with planners, engineers, and Commercial Gas Service Delivery Managers, you’ll help ensure commercial gas work is scheduled, tracked, and delivered effectively. The role maintains accurate records, supports compliance processes, and contributes to smooth service delivery across the national team.
The role of Administration Officer will include:

-Maintain effective administrative systems to support commercial gas services.
-Support the regional teams by ensuring accurate and timely information is collected, collated, prepared and presented
-Support internal and external stakeholders, helping resolve service issues and responding to customer or client queries.
-Maintain organised filing systems, tracking repairs, work orders, and audit trails.
-Assist with compliance activities and ensure documentation meets regulatory and contract standards.
-Contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the commercial service area
Skills and experiences:

-Recent experience of undertaking a similar role
-Literacy and numeracy equivalent to passes in GCSE Grade English and Maths
-Confident user of scheduling systems, databases, and Microsoft Office.
-Clear communication skills with the ability to support both office and field staff.
-Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
-Ability to extract and interrogate data from computer systems
-Good organisational and planning skills
-Proficient user or Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
