Your new role

We are looking for our next Senior IT Project Manager to help us roll-out our future MES projects in the Line of Business. We are on an exciting journey in rolling out PAS-X at various sites in Novo Nordisk and you will have the opportunity to play a vital role in securing production efficiency and speed for the next many years. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading PAS-X projects across multiple sites, together with our team of MES analysts.  

You will have the overall overview of the project delivery and have end-to-end IT Project management responsibility for the PAS-X delivery. This includes project roadmap, cost management, resource management, analysis, delivery, hypercare and stakeholder management. We are looking for our next talent who have appetite and ambition to grow together with the rest of the programme.

More specifically our next Senior IT Project Manager, will among many areas and tasks be responsible for the following:

-Drive roll-outs of small and large MES projects and other IT projects in the area
-Stakeholder management, budgeting and communication towards line of business
-Coordinate and keep track of project roadmaps and act on impediments and potential delays before they occur. 
-Project management and overall responsible for delivery of the teams
-In charge of the project team’s leadership, direction, guidance, and coaching
-Coordinate product development wishes between users and our IT development partner
-Act as Servant leader of your team(s) and ensure an agile approach
 

Your skills and qualifications

To be successful in this role, you have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, supply chain management or other relevant field. You also bring:

-Experience with IT Project Management
-Strong project management skills (including stakeholder management skills, presentation skills, governance skills and communication skills)
-Pharma industry knowledge is a clear advantage
-MES systems (E.g. PAS-X) and leading MES project rollouts is an advantage
-Experience with production/supply chain processes and/or GxP is also an advantage
-Knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM is an advantage

The department, CMC Digital & IT is anchored in Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Product & Process Development and is tasked to drive digitalization including to implement MES – a Manufacturing Execution System (MES). We set the strategic direction, thereby enabling faster and optimized road for new innovative medicine. CMC is in the heart of the pharmaceutical practice, bridging the scientific disciplines in Research & Development with the execution acumen in production.

The team is based in Bagsværd (Greater Copenhagen area), Denmark and work together with our CMC colleagues, meaning that you will get to work closely with the users and technologies that drive our pilot manufacturing processes to the next level. The team itself is very diverse both in terms of capabilities and background, with roles spanning from project managers, product owners to hands-on MES analysts and specialists.
