Job Title: Actuarial Technician

Contract Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract 

Location:  Alderley Park

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

Closing date: 5th March 2026

Join Royal London as an Actuarial Technician and play a key role in supporting our actuarial team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects within the actuarial systems and development team, helping deliver improvements in operational efficiency and reduce risk. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, primarily supporting the strategic Group policy administration system migrations.

About the role

•    Support policyholder data migration projects, testing output and collaborating with project teams to resolve issues

•    Build actuarial data processes to process new data feeds

•    Prepare reports and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

•    Contribute to the development and maintenance of actuarial models. 

•    Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. 

About you

•    Strong analytical and numerical skills. 

•    Experience working with large datasets and data manipulation software (e.g., Excel, R, Python). 

•    Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. 

•    Effective communication and teamwork skills. 

•    Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. 

•    Previous experience in an actuarial or financial services environment is desirable. 

•    Progress towards actuarial qualifications (e.g., IFoA exams) is an advantage.
