ASIC Vendor Manager (12-Month Contract – Taiwan)Overview
We are seeking an experienced ASIC Vendor Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain management for Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs). This role covers supplier selection, price negotiation, supply agreements, capacity allocation, and sourcing strategy, ensuring seamless delivery from wafer manufacturing through assembly, testing, and fully tested components.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier Selection

-Conduct comprehensive evaluations of potential suppliers, assessing capabilities, reliability, and quality standards in collaboration with internal technical teams.
-Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier selection aligns with organizational objectives and sustainability goals.
Price Negotiation

-Lead or support negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms, balancing cost-effectiveness with quality standards.
Supply Agreements

-Develop, support, and negotiate supply agreements, establishing clear terms and conditions.
-Ensure contractual agreements align with quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
Capacity Allocation

-Monitor and manage supplier capacities to meet production demands, collaborating closely with production planning and operations teams.
-Ensure efficient and effective allocation of supplier capacity.
Sourcing Strategy

-Develop and execute sourcing strategies in line with organizational goals and industry best practices.
-Stay up to date with market trends and emerging technologies to enhance sourcing strategies.Required Knowledge and Skills

-Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with proven experience in supply chain management and procurement, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
-Strong negotiation skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a high level of attention to detail.
-Good understanding of ASIC manufacturing processes, from wafer fabrication through assembly, testing, and delivery.
-Ability to maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.Assignment Details

-Duration: 12 months (with potential extension)
-Desired Start Date: 02/03/2026
-Work Regime: Full-time
-Location: Taiwan (on-site required; remote work is not possible due to the nature of the role)
