Data Driven Business Developer – Food – NL & EU

This role offers the chance to take full commercial responsibility in the Netherlands while expanding into selected untapped European markets. You operate at the intersection of strategy and execution – from negotiations and listings to performance optimization and long-term growth.
Your role
As Country Sales Manager, you are fully accountable for commercial performance in the Netherlands and for developing new European growth markets. You create strategy, build substantiated business cases and personally drive execution with retail partners.
This is not a traditional field sales role. Success comes from analysis, insight and smart decision-making, supported by close collaboration with Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance.
You report directly to the European Sales Director and play a key role in shaping commercial direction.
What you’ll do
Own end-to-end commercial growth in the Netherlands (direct retail)

Identify and develop new European “white space” markets
*
Drive revenue, margin and distribution growth
*
Lead listing negotiations and account plans
*
Translate data, dashboards and insights into action
*
Build and manage strong retailer relationships
*
Collaborate cross-functionally on launches and forecasts
*
Monitor performance and continuously optimize results
Who you are
You are entrepreneurial, analytical and commercially sharp. You enjoy ownership, work comfortably with data and thrive in complex stakeholder environments.
You bring:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Business, Economics or similar)

2+ years of FMCG experience (Sales, Trade Marketing, Category or similar)

Experience with Dutch retail and European markets
*
Strong analytical mindset and P&L understanding
*
Fluent in Dutch and English
*
Flexible to travel when it adds value
