What you’ll do

As Development Architect (f/m/d) in Public Cloud ERP Engineering – Logistics you will be responsible that your team builds solutions that meet with SAP’s quality standards and are built in accordance with the SAP technology strategy. In this role, you will work very closely with Development Managers, Product Managers, Software Developers, Designers and Domain Experts, in an Agile working model. 

You will be responsible for support and development of product features, and you therefore need to be able to quickly analyze and solve issues in existing and new code. You demonstrate full responsibility for accepted tasks and therefore your work is determined by a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency. You continuously enhance your skills, and you have experience building highly available, secure and scalable enterprise products.

Your future team in the SAP location in Budapest focuses on Inventory Management in SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Inventory Management is a core element of the S/4HANA Public Cloud solution and is a part of almost all end-to-end business processes of product-centric companies.
 

What you bring

Required skills:

•Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, natural sciences, or similar field
•Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English 
•Over 7 years of experience producing high-quality, testable code in any object-oriented programming languages
•Hands-on expertise: ABAP, RAP, CDS, OData V4, Fiori/UI5
•Experience in design and architecting large scale software developments
•The ability to understand customer business process requirements and translate them into software solutions
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management; track record mentoring engineers; comfortable in distributed teams
•Excellent team player with cross-cultural awareness 
•Self-motivated individual with a positive can-do attitude and innovator mindset 
 
Optional skills:

•Experience with software development techniques like pair programming and TDD
•Product experience with Logistics or Product-Centric Solutions 
•Knowledge on business processes and architecture of Inventory Management
•
The position can be filled as part time position.
