Are you energized and experienced in shaping enterprise-wide digital processes and elevating the end-to-end buying experience in large organisations? Do you thrive in driving meaningful change across diverse stakeholder groups and organisational levels? Join us in leading bold transformation in the pathway to purchase strategy that will redefine how Novo Nordisk buys and operates with external vendors.
We are looking for a new colleague to join our team in Source to Pay Process Excellence in Corporate Procurement. Here you will get the opportunity to work in a professional team with great career opportunities in a global company recognised not only as a leader in our industry but also within our utilisation and adoption of digitalisation across the value chain.
Your new role
In this position, you will set and steer the enterprise pathway to purchase strategy in Novo Nordisk, where you will design and optimise processes for effective tail spend management—ensuring simple, compliant and value adding buying experiences. You will also play a key role in anchoring these processes within daily operations, working closely with operational teams in procurement and finance, to ensure robust governance, sustainable adoption and continuous performance improvements.
style=”text-align:justify”-
-Define and continuously refine the global P2P strategy and policy guardrails (how to buy, channel strategy, tail-spend approach) to scale across regions while accommodating local requirements.
-Translate strategy into delivery: lead a disciplined portfolio (discovery, design, build/configuration, deployment, hypercare) to implement global standards and local adaptations.
-Set and maintain process standards that simplify the buying experience, increase compliance and unlock value; oversee a continuous improvement pipeline (standardisation, simplification, automation) with fact-based analysis and value tracking.
-Drive change and adoption through stakeholder engagement, communications, training and super-user networks to ensure sustained utilisation of digital procurement tools (e.g., Coupa, analytics, AI-assisted buying).
-Facilitate P2P governance — demand intake, prioritisation, design approvals and release cadence — to enable transparent decision-making and stakeholder alignment.
-Act as business partner to link organisational needs with digital procurement opportunities, fostering an enterprise mindset, with end-to-end thinking across both processes and organisational units.
You will be based in Denmark, but some travel activities may occur.
Your new department

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for someone with below skills and qualifications:
style=”text-align:justify”-
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, supply chain, IT, engineering, or similar with strong academic results.
-+10 years’ experience in Source-to-Pay/Procure-to-Pay strategy building and execution, process optimisation and digital enablement in complex, global organisations.
-Proven track record setting enterprise process strategy and translating into execution with measurable outcomes.
-Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills in English.
-Self-driven, decisive and collaborative with high learning agility and comfort handling ambiguity and tight timelines.
