Commissioning Engineer (Service / Maintenance)

Taunton – International Travel

Circa A£50,000 to A£55,000 (Flexible DOE) + Premium Overtime Rates (OTE Up to A£63,000) + Full Expenses + Increasing Holidays (Up to 25 Days) + Bank Holidays

Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30, Friday 08:00 to 13:30

Commissioning Engineer required to work in a varied and technically challenging role. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company with a global reputation during a busy period of growth.

This role would suit an experienced commissioning engineer with a HNC (or equivalent) in electrical engineering (or similar). You will need a knowledge of PLC fault finding but can come from any background working on industrial machinery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning, installing, and troubleshooting machinery on a global basis. You will spend approximately 50% of your time based at the company’s site in Taunton, where you will commission the machinery and the other 50% of your time will be spent visiting customer sites where you will install and maintain machinery.

You can expect to spend anywhere up to two weeks away at a given time, depending on the size of the installation, but all expenses will be covered for you.

The Commissioning Engineer Role:

A· Commissioning, installing, and troubleshooting of automated machinery

A· 50:50 Site based and Travel to client sites throughout the UK and internationally

The Commissioning Engineer Candidate:

A· Experience commissioning automated machinery

A· Any industry background
