Job Title: System Audio Architect (Automotive)
Location: Frankfurt Rhine-Main Metropolitan Area
Contract Type: Freelance (Initial 4 months)
Work Mode: Hybrid onboarding, then 100% remote
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced System Audio Architect with strong automotive background to join an established System Architecture team within an innovative car manufacturer.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and driving the system architecture of the overall vehicle audio ecosystem. You will work from product definition through implementation and validation, collaborating closely with internal development teams and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities

-Analyze and elicit high-level product features and requirements
-Define, document, and manage system-level requirements
-Design and maintain system architecture artifacts, including:

-Component models
-Sequence diagrams
-State machines
-Drive the architecture definition of the vehicle audio ecosystem
-Interface with suppliers, ensuring alignment and follow-up on deliverables
-Work closely with software, hardware, and integration teams
-Support planning, development, execution, and review of validation and testing activitiesRequired Skills & Experience

-5+ years of experience in the automotive domain
-Strong knowledge of automotive systems and in-vehicle networks
-Proven experience in audio system architecture (vehicle audio, infotainment, or related domains)
-Experience working with system architecture methodologies and documentation
-Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)Contract Details

-Freelance contract, initially 4 months (with potential extension)
-Initial on-site onboarding in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main area
-Fully remote work possible after onboarding
