Company Overview:
A well-known food manufacturer in the Coventry area is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with experience in welding techniques to maintain their automated production lines.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Carrying out planned maintenance as per the scheduled program.
* Responding promptly to equipment failures to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
* Servicing and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and process machinery.
* Supporting production staff with basic machine upkeep and troubleshooting.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

* Mechanical maintenance experience in automated environments
* Welding and fabrication skills
* Fast-paced production experience
* PLC troubleshooting expertise
* Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
* NVQ/apprenticeship desirable
