BASIC SALARY: Up to A£55,000 dependant on your experience

JOB DESCRIPTION: Aftersales Manager, Product Support Manager, Service Manager – Manufacturing, Industrial
This Aftersales Manager role is definitely varied! You will have a lot of exposure internally on our site to after sales and presales and dealing with customers too. Leading a small team of product support engineers and office administration staff, whilst supporting managers internally and external customers.
Your stakeholder management will need to be exceptional.
You’ll need to be a strong communicator with excellent delegation skills and the ability to influence people at all levels.
Presales, you will support the sales team technically and with tenders, then follow projects up to production. You will also manage after sales issues including product technical support, warranty issues and claims, be involved in ECN’s and working with production on after sales issues.
You’ll need strong budgeting skills, project management experience and be a great communicator.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Aftersales Manager, Product Support Manager, Service Manager – Manufacturing, Industrial
As our Aftersales Manager, you will :
A· Lead your product support team, remaining hands on where needed (currently four people)
A· Manage after sales issues including warranty claims, field service, technical support etc
A· Work closely with our production teams
A· Support presales technically and with sales tenders
YOUR BACKGROUND: Aftersales Manager, Product Support Manager, Service Manager – Manufacturing, Industrial
A· Technically minded though experience and qualification – likely mechanical or electrical engineering
A· Competent taking ownership for after sales product support for warranty issues and service
A· Open on your background as long as it’s capital equipment or industrial machinery
A· Strong team management and leadership experience
A· Be able to support the commercial team technically

We manufacture our own machinery and equipment on site in Bedford which is distributed domestically and globally.
