I’m currently working with a growing Telecoms business in Rome who are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join their growing team on a hybrid basis.
 
They have been going for over 25 years and set the standard for the implementation of security and telecoms projects for their 500+ client portfolio! They have 2 strands to their business – 1 being more the project management side, the core products they help implement and the other being the Engineering & Tech side which is where this role comes in.
 
They are looking for a Senior Engineer with varied skills in developing API-first architecture, optimizing UI systems, implementing SaaS products and being familiar with Cloud based systems. You will be joining a growing team who are naturally growing with their continued success and onboarding of new projects.
 
Their Tech Stack (not all are required):

– PHP, Laravel, Node, Express, NestJS,
– JavaScript, Typescript, Vue
– AWS or GCP, Rest APIs, PostgreSQL
– Prometheus, CI/CD, Network Programming 

Role Responsibilities:

– Backend: Have at least 2-3 years as a Developer specialising in PHP/Node.
– Frontend: Have at least 12-18m experience with JavaScript, Typescript or Vue.
– Cloud: Confident working in a Cloud environment ideally with AWS or GCP.
– Network Programming – not essential: Ideally have worked in Telecoms or with NP.
– Self-starter and confident picking up various tasks.
– Desire to learn new technologies and keep pushing their skillset.
– Happy in a client facing role with good stakeholder management skills.
– Ideally have the ambitions (or experience) to lead/mentor teams in the future.
– Comfortable supporting the wider team and other developers.
– Have good Italian & English language skills.

Salary: EUR60,000-EUR70,000
