Job Description:Lead Our Business Segment to New Heights!Are you ready to drive innovation and growth in the Customer Service Factory Automation sector? We’re seeking a visionary leader to take charge of our Digital Industries Customer Service Factory Automation business segment.As a Business Segment Manager your goal is to develop, sell, and deliver profitable lifecycle and value-added services, maintenance, projects, and digitalization solutions. You’ll assume full responsibility for the segment’s profit and loss, managing all functional areas including sales, marketing, engineering, human resources, project management, and finance.What will your responsibilities be?
- Strategy & Portfolio Management: Develop and implement strategies to achieve business targets, enhance service share in the Belux market, and collaborate with HQ to create a balanced service portfolio focusing on lifecycle services, sustainability, and digitalization.
- Customer Relations & Business Development: Build strong customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and define and execute a detailed sales strategy with sales teams.
- Finance: Oversee P&L for the segment, target €5.4M in Order Entry FY25, ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of services and solutions, lead business planning, and maintain forecast accuracy and reporting.
- People Management: Mentor and develop team members, oversee bid & project manager and engineering team.
- Operation Management: Oversee project management, address project delivery feedback, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Are you the person we’re looking for?
- Educational Background: A Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or equivalent experience.
- Leadership & Sales Experience: At least 5 years in leadership and/or sales roles is a plus.
- Financial & Strategic Acumen: Strong skills in these areas are essential.
- Sales & Project Management: A robust sales background, ideally with project management skills, or experience in product management if from a product business background.
- Service Experience: Experience in a service environment is beneficial.
- People & Change Management: Proven ability to manage, engage, and motivate a team.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at various business levels.
- Diverse Interaction: Experience working with diverse groups, including different seniority levels, cultures, and cross-border exposure.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Dutch and French, with a strong command of English.
