About the job:

Based in Naples, Italy you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join CSU Naples, which is the leading provider of Communications and Information System (CIS) products and services to locally based NATO entities such as the Joint Force Command (JFC) Naples. CSU Naples enables end-to-end CIS services and manages critical technological capabilities during peacetime, crisis and war.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Head, Project Management Plans and Requirements Section who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Leads and/or supports the local implementation of CIS projects in co-ordination with the Projects Portfolio Manager, providing effective team leadership, ensuring information flow during project work;
  • Monitors effectiveness of Project implementation and ensures that appropriate recommendations for change are made;
  • Oversees and coordinates on the development of project plans and where required performs as Project Manager, coordinating with project stakeholders and reports on project execution and control;
  • Oversees the development of technical solutions and assesses resource requirements for delivery of new or changed services;
  • Supports the development of budget and resourcing estimates in support of service delivery;

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

  • A Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognized/certified university in information systems, physics or electronics related scientific or engineering discipline, or other relevant scientific discipline and 3 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 10 years post-related experience;
  • Recent experience in Project management of C4ISR acquisition and / or development projects for a large organization;
  • Experience in planning, design, system engineering and implementation of military or other C4ISR systems;
  • Experience in Project Management tools, managing cost and labor;
  • Ideally, a formal Project Management qualification, such as PRINCE2 or PMP; 
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
