Role Overview

The Human Resources Manager position reports into the VP People Advisory EMEA APAC and sits within our global People Advisory team which is part of the wider People Office (HR) Team within Ankura Business Services, our internal firm’s services function.

Our People Advisory Partners live our values, understand how our culture comes to life, and possess a deep knowledge of the business and delivery of all People services to internal business groups to drive outstanding performance. This role works closely with our L&D, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards teams which make up the People Office.The ideal candidate has a passion for solving complex challenges, being a trusted advisor to the business, is willing to and enjoys “rolling up their sleeves” and has a hands-on approach to partnerships. You will work on key initiatives and projects, supporting current businesses and future growth markets, in areas such as employee relations, culture, diversity, learning and total rewards, employee development, as well as facilitating the annual talent management processes. Requirements

  • Y ou are currently excelling as either a Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner within a complex, commercially-focused matrix organisation, and are seeking to advance into an HR Manager role.

  • Experience gained working in the professional services/management consulting industry and scaling business is essential.

  • Ideally possess HR knowledge of one of the following regions: – France, Germany, Belgium, UAE, or Saudi Arabia.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to partner with key decision-makers in the business including executive level colleagues while driving the business from an operational perspective,

  • Proven success in driving HR initiatives includes employee engagement, employee relations, talent management, compensation, and benefits strategy, and change management.

  • Superior client relationship management and consulting skills with the ability to quickly foster strong, effective, and trusted relationships and networks.

  • In-depth England and Wales Employee Relations knowledge and workplace investigations experience

  • Ability to think critically, logically, and analytically

  • Proactive and strong solutions focus; comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions

  • Capable of flexing solutions to changing demands: anticipating the local, regional, global impact

  • Comfortable navigating competing demands associated with a scaling business across multiple international regions.

  • Creates and inspires trust and openness amongst colleagues together with a reputation for high personal integrity, with the courage to challenge the status quo

  • Strong communication skills, ability to influence and articulate a variety of issues to different audiences across the business, tailoring messages accordingly

  • Ability to collaborate with global centers of excellence to influence programme design, execution tactics and effectively drive change at the local level in the EMEA APAC regions and assigned business groups.

  • Demonstrated Project Management skills to deliver initiatives in an organised, efficient, and timely manner

  • Advanced skills including Excel and PowerPoint and related HR systems/databases such as Workday

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in HR or equivalent and CIPD qualified

  • Occasional travel may be required. We work on a hybrid working model.
