Information about the positionThe Content Design team is part of Vinted’s Design & Research organisation and consists of 6 Content Designers fully embedded within multidisciplinary domains. They work closely with Product Design, Research, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver user-centric experiences. While embedded in these domains, the team maintains a shared vision and unified standards to ensure consistency in craft and high-quality outcomes.As the Content Design Manager, your primary objective is to elevate the impact of content design across Vinted by ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centred work that drives measurable business outcomes. This includes improving content quality (through experimentation and member-centric approaches) and operational efficiency (reducing lead time and optimising productivity).To achieve this, you’ll lead and grow a team of talented Content Designers, fostering their development while establishing standards, scalable content systems, efficient processes, and effective tooling. You’ll also cultivate a collaborative and innovative culture that empowers the team to deliver meaningful results.Reporting to the Director of Content Design & Localisation, you’ll work closely with cross-functional partners to align strategies, solve complex challenges, and deliver meaningful user experiences. This role combines leadership, strategy, and opportunities to directly shape the future of content design at Vinted through high-impact initiatives.In this position, you’ll

  • Lead and enable the team to deliver impactful, user-centered content that aligns with business goals and drives measurable results, ensuring both quality and efficiency.
  • Mentor and grow a team of content designers, fostering their development and creating an environment where they can thrive.
  • Shape the vision and structure of the content design team, building a strong foundation for its growth and maturity.
  • Drive the evolution of the content design function by maturing its embedding within the product development lifecycle, enhancing collaboration, and refining standards and processes.
  • Develop and execute strategies for high-complexity initiatives, aligning with business objectives and user needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver impactful, user-focused solutions.
  • Plan and manage team capacity, ensuring sustainable workloads and effective resource allocation.
  • Define KPIs to measure the success of initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

About you

  • Expert knowledge in UX Writing and Content Design demonstrated through a strong track record of delivering high-quality, impactful user experiences through content.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to build, mentor, and empower collaborative, high-performing teams that thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Deep knowledge of user-centered design principles, content strategy development, and best practices for creating engaging, concise, and audience-tailored content.
  • Proven experience establishing or maturing the content design function, including developing standards, processes, and frameworks that elevate the craft.
  • Strong ability to build successful relationships with stakeholders, partners, and team members, engaging and influencing at all levels of the organisation.
  • A proactive mindset for identifying opportunities to improve ways of working and increase operational efficiency.
  • Familiarity with tools like Figma, Ditto, and Frontitude to support content creation, management, and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation to refine and optimise content solutions (preferred).
