Your RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Implementation Engineer to join our Manufacturing Applications team. The ideal candidate will combine the roles of a Functional Analyst with Project Management and Go-Live Support for IT applications in our manufacturing sites globally. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage projects from inception to completion.You will work together with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and challenges. You will document business processes and requirements to meet those challenges. Addionally, you will drive process improvement ideas with a focus on scoping, coordinating, planning, execting user acceptance testing, launch activities and providing ongoing support. You will also be responsible for triage and analysis of production support issues.Key Responsibilities:
- Functional Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for IT applications.
- You can work with the stakeholders to understand the big picture and work towards it
- Ensure alignment of IT solutions with business objectives and manufacturing processes.
- Assists with data mapping and set up of new environments
- Project Management:
- Plan, execute, and oversee IT implementation projects across global manufacturing sites.
- Develop project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Go-Live Support:
- Provide on-site and remote support during the go-live phase of IT applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during implementation.
- Train key-users and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth adoption of new systems.
- Assist with data loads and data corrections to ensure a smooth go-live
To succeed, you will needQualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in functional analysis and project management
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and IT applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel globally to support implementation projects.
Skills:
- Hands-on experience with SQL and an understanding of data warehousing and relational database concepts & technologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with ERP systems and other manufacturing IT applications.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
