Job description
We are looking for a Sales & Operations Planning Specialist to join the EMEA Polymers Planning Team.The Sales & Operations Planning Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining and communicating the Sales and Operations Plan (S&OP) for the polymers business unit. You will work closely with Export Planners, Sales, Customer Service and Material Management to optimize sales, supply chain performance and inventory levels.Key Responsibilities:Owner of the monthly supply planning activities for all supply sources. Define product and packaging split, replenish warehouses based on forecast, sales plan and inventory levels.Cooperate closely with sales managers on rolling forecasts, allocation of free up volumes, unsold direct shipments, near prime materials, slitting, etc.Cooperation with material management on inbounds.Lead the monthly regional S&OP call to facilitate discussions on production status, inventory projections, monthly demand and allocations.Participate in international S&OP calls and provide update to regional activities and pricing.Participate in projects and workgroups to develop processes and systems supporting our Growth Projects such as Golden Triangle and RLPP.Drive continuous improvement in work processes.Maintain and update data in all supporting files and systems.How does the ideal candidate look like?Able to analyze large amount of data from multiple systems and incorporate them into the planning processCapable of adapting to unplanned changes driven by either production, logistic or market sentimentHave excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholdersSelf starter and able to handle multiple tasks concurrentlyHighly proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office programsInventory management and integrated business planning experience is a plusMinimum 5 years of experienceBachelor’s degreePerformance by design.
