We are excited to invite a highly skilled Engineering Project Manager to join our dynamic Engineering Services team within the Parma Engineering organization. In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge in delivering transformative projects that enhance our facilities and electrical systems.
Your work will directly contribute to our decarbonization initiatives, seismic retrofitting efforts, and the development of cutting-edge infrastructure solutions, such as new cabins.
With project budgets ranging from €10K to €30M, you will have the opportunity to manage medium to large-scale projects from feasibility through to handover.
Your mission will be to ensure that all objectives related to cost, schedule, quality, safety, and environmental impact are met, while delivering measurable business benefits.

In this role you will…
- Define, plan, and execute complex projects related to facilities, electrical systems, and Facility restructuring, including seismic reinforcement and energy-saving technologies.
- Prepare detailed project budgets, timelines, and resource plans, presenting business cases to secure approvals and funding.
- Monitor and report project progress through monthly updates, proactively managing risks and mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate contractor selection and oversee contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Oversee commissioning, validation, and handover activities to ensure seamless integration and successful project closure.
- Promote the adoption of new technologies and innovative practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental standards.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- Strong expertise in electrical systems, facility management, and infrastructure development.
- Demonstrated background in the pharmaceutical or similarly regulated industries.
- Previous experience in managing engineering projects, particularly those involving complex systems or compliance-driven environments.
- Proven track record in delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

- Proficiency in seismic retrofitting techniques and innovative construction methodologies.
- Experience with energy-efficient systems, renewable energy integration, and decarbonization projects.
- Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

- Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
