This will be largely an independent role, and you will be joining the HOP Team consisting of the HOP School Room Supervisor based in the Lewisham Hospital School Room, HOP Maths Outreach Tutor, HOP Outreach Manager, and HOP Clinical Psychologist, working with children and young people of statutory school age and their families in a variety of settings.This role is Term Time only.What’s in it for you?Excellent training and development opportunities, plus a range of benefits including:

What we’re looking forYou will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic person with good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will be committed to the development of the service and in working collaboratively with parents and other professionals to close the gap in attainment for Young People unable to attend school for medical reasons. An interest and expertise in meeting the needs of those with Physical and Mental Health needs would be especially welcomed.Qualified Teacher status essential.Experience of peripatetic work is desirable but not essential as training will be given. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check. This job is Term Time only.LocationThe job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, London, SE6 4RU and Lewisham Hospital, London, SE13 6LH but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from students homes.Special conditions
