If so, we have just the opportunity!Role Scope & ImpactThe role as a security engineering in the e-conomic Security Team is a broad one that encompasses most of the areas in security. The primary focus is on application security and in particular security engineering where the team is responsible for the vulnerability management process and the Secure Software Development Lifecycle. Other responsibilities include Security Operations and Cloud Security. As part of the Security Team, the focus is on scaling security through automation and paved roads and you’ll have an opportunity to build systems and processes that will drive the entire security posture.What You’ll Do Day-to-DayBelow, we’ve outlined some of the tasks and responsibilities we expect to be part of your daily work. However, this list is not exhaustive, and there’s room to shape your role as you grow with us.Collaborate and partner with teams and departments to drive security outcomesDevelop systems and processes that can create an outsized security outcomeManage the Vulnerability Management process and automation to ensure teams have the overview of vulnerabilitiesCreate and contribute to platforms that help other developers build secure softwareDevelop and manage systems that make up the secure paved roadLearn about the Products DepartmentYou will be joining our development organization Products (R&D) with +180 employees, primarily located in Denmark, Romania and Portugal, working with technologies and platforms like C#, React, MS-SQL, and we continuously explore tools that enhance our development. The product department is a diverse group of +20 nationalities, including Developers, Product Managers, QA Engineers and UX Designers.About the Security TeamThe Security Team is a small team but is expanding in order to maintain the high standards of security. We are handling the entire security field where we are all about exposing and managing risk and ensuring trust and safety in the product. We do this primarily through automation throughout the entire Secure Software Development Life Cycle, vulnerability management as well as creating outsized impact in Security Operations, Compliance and Security Awareness.
