Known for its elegant fusion of classic French cuisine with seasonal ingredients from the Zeeland region, the venue offers guests an intimate and vibrant dining experience, featuring a carefully curated wine list and live DJ sets that create an energetic atmosphere.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef ready to take the next step, or an established Head Chef seeking a creative environment where they can make their mark.The Role:The Head Chef will lead a small but passionate kitchen team, taking ownership of menu development, kitchen operations, and overall food quality. Working closely with local suppliers, the focus will be on delivering high-quality dishes that reflect the restaurants French-inspired concept with modern twists.Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Designing and executing seasonal menus, incorporating French techniques with locally sourced ingredients.
  • Managing a small kitchen team, providing training, mentoring, and guidance to ensure their continued growth.
  • Maintaining stock control, supplier relationships, and compliance with all health and safety regulations.

The successful Head Chef will have:

  • Experience as a strong Sous Chef or previous Head Chef, ideally within a French cuisine setting.
  • A creative and passionate approach to food, with a strong understanding of seasonal and local ingredients.
  • The ability to lead and inspire a small team, fostering a positive and professional kitchen environment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, intimate restaurant setting.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills, with a hands-on approach.
