As a D365 Business Central Solution Architect, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the architecture, design, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions. Your role will require close collaboration with clients, business analysts, and development teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet the strategic needs of the business. You will also play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment of D365 BC while ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Solution Design: Take ownership of the end-to-end design of Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions, ensuring the architecture aligns with the client’s strategic business objectives and operational requirements.
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders to define and gather functional and technical requirements for D365 BC implementations. Identify process inefficiencies and recommend technology-driven improvements.
- Customisations and Configurations: Provide expert advice on the customisation and configuration of D365 BC, tailoring the solution to meet specific client needs, including core modules.
- System Integration: Design and implement integration between D365 BC and third-party systems, ensuring smooth data flow and operational consistency across all platforms.
- Project Leadership: Manage and oversee all stages of the project life-cycle, from initial solution design to post-deployment support. Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as a key liaison between clients, technical teams, and business stakeholders. Communicate project progress, technical details, and business impacts effectively to senior leadership.
- Solution Optimisation: Conduct regular system reviews and offer recommendations for ongoing optimisation of the D365 BC environment to ensure the client gets the most value from the solution.
- Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to end-users and internal teams. Offer post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and advice for system enhancements.
- Stay Current with D365 BC Developments: Continuously stay up-to-date with the latest updates, features, and best practices in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to ensure that clients are using the most advanced and efficient solution possible.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations, with at least 2 years in a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant role.
- Functional Knowledge: Expertise in at least two of the following modules: Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory Management.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of D365 BC architecture, development tools, and integration capabilities. Experience with AL programming, extensions, and customisation is highly desirable.
- Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing ERP implementation projects from start to finish.
- Integration Skills: Experience in integrating D365 BC with third-party systems (CRM, HRM, eCommerce platforms) and familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Azure Services, and Logic Apps.
- Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships, lead teams, and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
