You’ll play a crucial role in supporting ORAC’s digital ambitions, ensuring our systems are robust, secure and efficient. This position is key to delivering our digital strategy while ensuring an exceptional level service to our internal stakeholders.What you’ll do:System Management: Implement, configure and maintain IT systems and applications (including network infrastructure and cloud solutions)User Account Management: Implement, manage and review account policies, permissions and related security policies in systems like Active Directory or cloud environmentsProject Leadership: Drive key IT projects in support of the digital ambition of Orac as well as cloud migration.Collaboration: Work closely with internal as well as external stakeholder (including third-party vendors) to ensure system performance and manage change.Security: Assistant to implement security policies and measures (including firewalls, antivirus software and intrusion detection systems).Backup: Develop and maintain backup strategies for critical data and systems.Process Improvement: Propose and implement optimizations to the Orac IT landscape and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.This is how we describe you…Act and think at a Master’s level (think IT, Computer Science or related field).Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT operations or similar role.Affinity with data protection, information security, and corporate compliance.Knowledge of networking principles, server administration, cloud platforms & technologies and virtualization platformsExperience with networking principles, server administration, cloud platforms & technologies (e.g. Microsoft Azure) and virtualization platforms (e.g. VMware).Good understanding of both Information and Operational Technology (IT/OT).Fluent in English and Dutch.Excellent collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.A systematic approach to problem solving with strong analytical and project management skills and a “can do” attitudeMust demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and thrive in a dynamic, transformation-driven environmentOverall, you’re a pleasant person with a team-oriented approach.
