U. z 2018 r., poz. 1668) and the statutes of the University of Wroclaw.The candidate is expected to have * PhD degree in the field of humanities.
- Scholarly achievements in the field of translation studies.
- Teaching experience at work at the academic level, documented in the curriculum vitae, in conducting academic classes in the field of various forms of translation.
- Knowledge of the Polish, German language to be able to communicate in the academic environment and in academic teaching.
- The committee shall also take into account – additional criteria related to the profile of the Department of Translation Studies and Glottodidactics: Proven research into the translation of various text genres, highly developed competence in academic translodidactics, published translations/edits from German into Polish and/or vice versa.
Responsibilities at the workplace * Conducting individual and team research in the field of translation studies.
- Conducting classes in various forms of translation and interpreting, as well as practical German language study.
- Participation in the work on the organization of scientific conferences, editorial work on scientific publications, activities popularizing science, participation in organizational work within the Department of Translation Studies and Glottodidactics.

). * Self-presentation (information about scientific, organizational, and other achievements).
- List of scientific publications in the last ten years.
- Electronic versions of the two most important publications that the candidate considers representative of his or her scientific achievements or an explanation of the lack of them.
- Application for employment addressed to HM Rector.
- Information about research plans (in the form of a project presenting the subject and purpose of the research).
- Author’s outline of classes (30 hours) on ‘translation studies’.
- Any other documents justifying the candidacy.
