Offer DescriptionRector of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciencesannounces an open competition for the position ofprofessor in the group of research and teaching staffin the Department of Reproduction with the Clinic of Farm AnimalsJob description for the position:
- conducting research activities in the area of animal reproduction, including obtaining external funds for the implementation of research projects;
- preparing and conducting didactic classes in the field of diseases and reproduction of farm animals, including diseases and reproduction of horses in Polish and English;
- disseminating research results in the form of scientific publications in journals indexed in the SCOPUS or Web of Science database;
- participating in scientific conferences/symposia (domestic and foreign);
- participating in workshops and training courses improving professional competences;
- participating in organizational work for the unit and university;
- other tasks assigned by the head of the unit, resulting from the profile and nature of the unit and university.
Requirements for the candidate:
- has the title of professor of veterinary sciences or related sciences;
- has the right to practice as a veterinarian;
- has teaching experience at the academic level;
- has significant scientific achievements published in scientific journals indexed in the Scopus or Web of Science database;
- knows Polish both orally and in writing;
- meets the criteria specified in art. 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018, the Law on Higher Education and Science:
- enjoys full public rights;
- has full legal capacity;
- has not been convicted by a final judgment for an intentional crime or an intentional tax crime;
- has not been punished with a disciplinary penalty of expulsion from work at a university with a ban on working at universities for a period of 6 months to 5 years or deprivation of the right to practice as an academic teacher for a period of 10 years.
