Job description

Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, while leading the internal safety department and implementing EHS systems.

• Lead by example to achieve company EHS goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with requirements, local legislation, and corporate EHS standards.
• Monitor and document EHS compliance, including inspections, risk assessments, and official audits.
• Oversee site expansion projects with a focus on process safety management.
• Drive the implementation of Safety and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001).
• Provide EHS advice for new projects, processes, and installations.
• Investigate incidents and unsafe conditions, implementing measures to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain and update the Intervention Plan in collaboration with local authorities.
• Build and lead the local EHS team, ensuring succession planning and development.
• Actively contribute to cross-functional goals within the local Supply Chain Management team.

Freelance EHS ManagerMin. 5 months

• Freelance EHS manager experience.
• Safety Advisor Level 1 and Environmental Coordinator Level A certification.
• Engineering or chemical degree preferred.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, with excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to implement projects and programs.
