Timberland EMEA is looking for an exceptional Wholesale Manager to join our Sales team team based in Paris, France.

Let’s Talk about the Role
You as Wholesale Manager will lead the commercial strategy for wholesale channel of Timberland in France.
You will manage the team of sales representatives and key account managers and give guidelines in the brand’s commercial distribution.
How You Will Make a Difference
You will achieve this by:
- Maintain and further develop relationships with key accounts at head office level. Understand their business needs and requirements, to drive sales growth of the brand within the market.
- Develop a 3-year business plan for the France market including strategic account plans for key accounts and territories along with the new distribution plan as relevant. Carry out regular reviews with key wholesale
- Coach and develop the Sales Team, elevating performances and development opportunities
- Work closely with your colleagues across the Company, in particular those covering the same accounts as yourself to ensure that you are fully aware of VF’s activity in the account and that all opportunities for VF brands are maximised.
- Conduct regular business reviews to the key accounts and sales teams and provide authoritative guidance for the range selection so that the optimum range is always stocked and replenished at all times.
- Effectively negotiate and oversee the trade terms and investment strategy for all accounts in market in order to maximise VF’s margin requirements
- Work closely with the regional merchandising and planning department to ensure the market range selection drives sales and sell through in market. Provide accurate pre-book and replenishment forecasts, and agree delivery dates in-line with customer requirements.
- Complete all administration accurately, on time and to a high standard. Ensure the comprehensive account profiles are completed for all Key accounts and that records are kept up to date for all accounts.
Skills for Success
- You will have solid key account management or similar experience in FMCG or a major lifestyle/sports/outdoor brand
- You will have a deep knowledge and understanding of the European lifestyle and/or outdoor/sports industry and values
- You will have experience with and understanding of lifestyle and/or outdoor consumers
- You will have skill in crafting and maintaining mutual strategic plans and frequently measuring execution,
- You will be analytical and strategic, with the ability to see the strength of using facts for decisions
- You will be a high energy, goal oriented and driven individual who is great at getting things done
- Skills in analysis, time management, communication, problem solving and innovative thinking and doing
- You are an exceptional team player
A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master’s degree in Economics are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
