Location: Bradford and Keighley Primary Schools
Type: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAPAre you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team to support our Bradford and Keighley Primary Schools.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Assist classroom teachers in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapting lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and included.
- Utilize Team Teach techniques to manage challenging behavior and promote positive interactions.
- Provide personal care assistance to students as required, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
- Experience working with students with SEN, particularly those with complex needs.
- Preferably hold a Team Teach qualification or have relevant training in behavior management techniques.
- Experience in providing personal care support to students is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity within the school community.
