More information about our business and group on digitalvirgo.comJob DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and agile Senior Business Analyst to join our BA team in Florence. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will leverage your data-driven insights to optimize performance and support operational teams & project roll-out. In this highly cross-functional role, you’ll interact with a wide spectrum of teams (Operations / Acquisitions / Product /Commercial / Finance) and actively participate in the group’s growth dynamic. The role also requires strong interpersonal skills and proactivity, as we value entrepreneurship and leadership.QualificationsReporting to the BA Director, you will:

  • Track, analyze, and alert teams of all KPIs and provide qualitative feedback in order to support business decision making (pre-defined key countries under your sole responsibility).  Take the lead of Turnover Monitoring from a global perspective, sharing insights on trends and alerting key stakeholders on strategical adjustments required.
  • Collaborate with local analysts and validate Gross Margin for the defined business line. This key activity also requires interactions with Finance departments and global data team to validate and certify statistics.
  • Take the ownership of forecast and budget processes. Consolidation, producing all supporting documentation required for the process and variance vs target analysis.
  • Ad hoc analysis capability and innovation will be a plus (AI projects involvement).
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.
  • Skills and Experience:
  • Degree in mathematics, statistics or similar
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
  • High degree of motivation, flexibility and creativity
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in a similar role / digital market sector
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and interact with various levels of a business
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
  • Experience in a similar role within the digital market sector
  • Fluency in English, French is a plus
