Job Description
Advanced Cell Diagnostics, Inc. (ACD) is a leader in the field of molecular pathology and tissue-based diagnostics. Our core RNAscope® technology is the world’s first multiplex fluorescent and chromogenic in situ hybridization platform capable of detecting and quantifying RNA biomarkers in situ at single molecule sensitivity. Position Description
We are seeking a motivated Sales Specialist in our North Atlantic Region for a 1 year maternity leave cover. The employee’s primary responsibility is the sale of the Company’s present and future products and services based on its RNAscope, BaseScope and future technologies to both universities and academic institutes within the territory. The employee is essential to the continued success and growth of the Company’s European operations. The Employee must be highly motivated to play a central role in developing the company, its products and its customers. The employee should have the qualifications to accept additional responsibilities as the Company and its products mature.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and nurture customer accounts, focusing on satisfaction, retention, and long-term relationships.

Promote ACD’s RNAscope technologies and advocate for new products.

Develop and implement strategies to strengthen customer loyalty and achieve business goals.

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development to improve products and address market challenges.

Conduct product demonstrations, troubleshoot technical issues, and host promotional seminars.

Submit timely reports on activities, expenses, and forecasts.
Operational responsibilities:

Adhere to company operational and commercial procedures,
-
Control of expenses and submission of expenses on a monthly basis

Work within guidelines of Company Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
-
Education/experience: B.S./B.A. in a Life Science discipline or closely related field, M.S., Ph.D. or M.B.A. a plus.
-
Experience in reagent and/or technology platform sales is desirable.
-
Knowledge of the Gene Expression or Functional Genomics, or a related market is a must. Experience, either practical or sales, in any of these areas is desirable.

Requires ability to travel extensively within the territory, and other countries as required.

Position requires overnight travel which may span weekend days and/or holidays.

Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid passport which allows travel internationally.
Personal Qualities/Attributes

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Experience working with USA or other multi-national companies advantageous

Ability to influence/educate others in order to gain acceptance/approval of innovative concepts/products is a requisite.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to present oral presentation to small or large audiences.

Ability to implement strategic and tactical plans both independently and with a team.

Demonstrate organizational, prioritization and planning skills required for successful account management, territory management, and project management.

Proven ability to work and succeed under minimal supervision.
