Working closely with students aged 11-18 years who may struggle in mainstream education. This is the ideal job if you want to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic SEN environment that aligns with your academic background. It allows you to build a strong foundation for a future career in psychology, education or even therapy.As a complex needs teaching assistant, you will be joining a team that is highly dedicated, nurturing and skilled to deliver the best support for pupils. Minimum rate of pay Minimum rate GBP85.10 per day
Hours 9:00am 3:30pmExperience, Training and QualificationsA recent Psychology graduate with a passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
A proactive, adaptable mindset and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Any experience in SEN, education, or child development (advantageous but not essential).
A DBS on the Update Service (Or Willingness to apply for one)To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
