In this role, you will lead complex, transformative software engineering projects from inception through implementation. You will work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet client needs. Your strong technical expertise will be essential in overseeing projects such as mission-critical legacy system migrations, as well as leading teams through data and application strategy initiatives.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of technical projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and timelines.
  • Manage and guide clients and teams, promoting best practices in software engineering, architecture, and DevOps.
  • Drive complex system migration projects, including the evaluation of current systems and the seamless transition to modern platforms, with an emphasis on robust architectural principles.
  • Apply Domain Driven Design (DDD) principles and architectural patterns to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions.
  • Translate complex technical concepts, including architecture and design patterns, into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape and execute application and data strategy projects, ensuring alignment with modern architectural standards.
  • Maintain a balance between high-level technical strategy and hands-on problem-solving, depending on project needs.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, providing technical advisory and ensuring the delivery of transformative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and projects within a consulting or software engineering environment.
  • Strong software engineering background, with hands-on experience in software architecture, Domain Driven Design, and established architecture patterns.
  • Expertise in legacy system migration and modernisation.
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices and cloud solutions, with the ability to integrate these within project architectures.
  • Ability to translate technical jargon, including architectural principles and patterns, into business-friendly language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing application and data strategy projects, with a keen understanding of how these align with architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
