Job description
We are looking for a Product Owner / Project Manager for our client, a leading organization in the Facilities Management and Construction sectors. If you are a skilled professional with a passion for managing technical projects and delivering sustainable workplace solutions, this role is for you.Role Overview :
- Develop technical concepts and project proposals based on input from clients, as well as the Architect or Project Manager.
- Identify and raise concerns, manage project risks and issues, and seek management decisions when necessary.
- Present, justify, and defend project options to leadership and customers.
- Prepare cost estimates that incorporate self-assessments and contributions from various stakeholders.
- Provide advice and prepare management reports (such as progress reports and risk mitigation plans) in accordance with the document management strategy, utilizing relevant tools and processes.
- Take responsibility for communication with customers, suppliers, and other internal or external project stakeholders to ensure projects remain on track and meet their objectives.
- Compile technical and financial reports for IFM services.
- Submit weekly status reports to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Facilities Management and/or Construction projects.
- Extensive experience as a Technical Engineer.
- Significant experience as a technical project manager in medium to large-scale projects, specifically in workplace design and/or management.
- Professional experience in projects that incorporate sustainability aspects.
- Proven experience in the areas of Facilities Management, Workplace, and Construction projects.
- Demonstrated design and/or drawing competencies.
- Ability to prepare ‘call for bids’ that specify technical requirements in construction, refurbishment, renovation, and other disciplines related to Facilities Management.
- Education and qualification prerequisites:
- A university degree in electrical engineering, HVAC engineering, or another related field applicable to the position.
- Strong knowledge of projects and workplaces that involve Building Management Systems (BMS) and
- Electronic Security Systems (ESS) components.
