About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technical Compliance Manager to ensure our operations and products meet regulatory and technical compliance standards across multiple jurisdictions in the iGaming sector. This role is critical in maintaining a robust compliance framework, working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth compliance management across markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements within the iGaming industry, a proactive approach to risk management, and excellent project management skills.Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance Analysis: Interpret and analyze technical legislation, regulations, and guidelines for both new and existing markets, translating requirements into clear, actionable advice for internal teams.
- Compliance Framework Development: Develop, maintain, and continuously improve internal compliance documentation, policies, and monitoring frameworks to ensure adherence to technical and regulatory standards across relevant jurisdictions.
- Risk Identification & Mitigation: Identify, assess, and monitor technical compliance risks, proposing effective solutions and mitigation strategies to ensure the business stays ahead of potential regulatory challenges.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Act as the bridge between compliance and technical development teams, ensuring that compliance requirements are fully integrated into product development, certification, and launch processes.
- Project Management: Track and manage multiple technical compliance-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and in line with regulatory requirements, including the coordination of internal and external technical audits.
- Legislation Monitoring: Stay informed of updates in gaming legislation and regulatory changes across global markets, assessing the impact on business operations, and developing action plans to ensure continued compliance.
- Process Optimization: Review and refine compliance processes and workflows, driving continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and streamline operations across the compliance team.
- Certifications & Audits: Lead and manage certification processes, working closely with external testing bodies and regulatory authorities. Facilitate and support audits, including ISO projects, to ensure successful outcomes.
- Audit & Internal Reviews: Conduct or assist with internal compliance audits to verify regulatory adherence across the organization. Use insights from audits and reviews to drive business improvements.
- Support & Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Legal & Compliance and other departments on technical compliance matters, promote a culture of compliance within the organization, foster awareness and best practices throughout the business to ensure regulatory obligations are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in law, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance, technical, or regulatory role within the iGaming sector, preferably on the B2B side.
- Strong knowledge of iGaming regulations and technical compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions (UK, Malta, Sweden, Ontario, etc.).
- Experience in managing certification processes with external testing bodies and familiarity with regulatory audits.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to own and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying risks and developing effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear and actionable guidance for cross-functional teams.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with regulators, testing bodies, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and experience in managing ISO certification projects is a plus.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
