Building for the future is an essential part of our strategy, and we see this coming to fruition through our exciting plans for the development of new Cancer and Children’s hospitals.The role of CMO is a critical one within our organisation, providing vision, professional leadership and strategic direction in the delivery of the Trust’s ambitions in the provision of care, learning and research. The CMO will apply their clinical and wider leadership skills and experience, together with curiosity in service of driving great care, teaching and research and bring an ability to develop partnerships and coalitions with others.The role includes responsibility for the clinical safety, outcomes and effectiveness of the care we deliver today and in the future alongside providing expert advice and information to the Trust Board on all aspects of professional practice and leadership relating to medical staff.
