We are currently seeking an Associate for our EMEA Hotels & Hospitality Valuation Advisory business line. This is a permanent, full time position based in Milan, Italy.
Responsibilities include:
- Undertaking valuations and strategic advisory assignments for single assets and portfolios in Italy, and other parts of the EMEA region where required
- Working both independently (albeit under supervision) and as part of a team depending on the project
- Critical analysis of data and market research investigations
- Undertaking site inspections
- Preparing valuation model analysis and reporting deliverables
- Organising and ensuring complete folder records, as well as contributing to central databases
- Managing hotels team valuation models and reporting templates
- Taking an active role in the team’s Client Relationship Management activities
- Working on other non-appraisal advisory projects as required.

Requirements:
- Exceptional financial modelling skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Outstanding problem solving, analytical and research skills
- Strong skills to deal with clients and other advisers (can be enhanced and further developed on the job)
- Collegial and team oriented
- Calm and focused under pressure and tight timelines
- Strong organisational skills
- Hard work mentality with flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as needed
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment that requires ability to manage competing priorities and projects
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in hotel real estate or in another trading related property sector.
- Expert in MS Office products (PowerPoint, excel), data analytics, and/or BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to travel throughout Italy and Europe.
- Desirable: European language skills.
- Desirable: Experience in VBA or other coding skills, and data management.
