About the roleJoin Imperial College London’s dynamic Marketing, Outreach, Recruitment, and Admissions (MORA) team as a Senior Marketing Officer. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive the growth and visibility of the Institute for Extended Learning (IEL) by crafting and executing innovative multi-channel marketing strategies. Working across summer schools, professional development programs, and academic English courses, you will play a key role in shaping a compelling narrative for a global audience while delivering a superior user experience at every touchpoint.What you would be doingAs the Senior Marketing Officer, you will play a vital role in executing our annual marketing and advertising campaigns. Collaborating with senior stakeholders, you will lead campaign creation and management, providing clear targeting, messaging, and performance targets shared across the Institute for Extended Learning (IEL).You will oversee global lead-generating campaigns and partner with media agencies to boost revenue. Your creative contributions will involve working across teams to develop marketing content and assets such as landing pages, advertising copy, and email campaigns to drive engagement and conversion. A data-driven mindset is essential, as you will analyse performance metrics to optimise campaign plans
- Strategic Development: Design and implement tailored B2B and B2C marketing plans to attract diverse audiences and meet annual targets.
- Digital Marketing: Manage paid digital campaigns, social media channels, and e-communications to maximise engagement and conversions. Optimise the website for user experience and SEO.
- Content Creation: Craft engaging content for brochures, websites, social media, and email marketing platforms while ensuring brand consistency and high-quality design standards.
- Collaboration: Work with internal and external stakeholders, including program teams and external agencies, to produce impactful marketing materials and campaigns.
- Analysis and Improvement: Evaluate campaign performance using analytics tools and continuously improve marketing initiatives through data-driven insights and testing.
What we are looking for
- Campaign expertise: Track record in planning and managing global advertising campaigns, with a strong analytical approach to optimising performance.
- Data-driven mindset: Skilled in interpreting quantitative and qualitative data to guide marketing strategies.
- Digital marketing knowledge: Understanding of the digital marketing landscape, including content and SEO.
- Communication excellence: Written communication skills, adaptable across various platforms and audiences, with keen attention to detail in proofreading and copyediting.
- Project management: Organisational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
- Collaborative and strategic: Experience working within brand guidelines, with excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships and managing a team.
- Financial acumen: Competent in budget management, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
